Biogenesis’ Spirulina and Chlorella blend combines two of nature’s most prized microalgae, enhanced with over seventy marine plant trace minerals.
Chlorella:
Chlorella is more nutrient-dense than spirulina, containing higher levels of chlorophyll, omega-3 fatty acids, iron and may support cleansing and detoxification. It is the only source of Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF).
BioGenesis Natural Chlorella is organically grown in the pristine Great Barrier Reef region of northern Australia. Bathed in golden sunshine the Chlorella thrive in the fresh spring water ponds.
Spirulina:
Our Spirulina is naturally grown for us in California. Biogenesis Spirulina is a blue-green algae containing a wide range of natural nutrients, including chlorophyll and phycocyanin, the super blue antioxidant unique to Spirulina. It is rich in protein, vitamins, including B12, and minerals, including magnesium which is necessary for normal nerve and muscle function and contains a natural source of iron.
Spirulina has been recognised by many different cultures over the centuries as a protein rich nutritionally dense whole food.
Multi Marine Minerals:
BioGenesis natural marine minerals is a nutrient dense multi-mineral complex whole food, derived from Lithothamnion Calcareum. It is a highly bioadaptive source of calcium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, Iodine selenium, strontium, boron and over 70 other marine trace minerals. Due to its organic plant source its high bioavailability lies in its unique composition and porous, honeycomb structure allowing for greater bodily absorption and uptake, compared to other forms of soil mined calcium. It is sustainably harvested for us in the pristine waters off the northern coast of Iceland.
Suggested usage: We suggest 2 teaspoons (7g) daily with an adequate intake of water.
When starting any new wholefood, we recommend commencing with half the daily recommended serving.
If pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medications always consult your healthcare practitioner.
