New Formulation Changes

You might be wondering—why the new formulation? If it ain't broke, don’t fix it, right? Well, we’ve made just a couple of tweaks to the blend, swapping out two ingredients. Due to new Australian regulatory changes, we couldn’t keep our original ingredients and still maintain our listing as a functional food. But we saw this as a great opportunity to enhance the blend.

Here’s what’s new:

• Gotu Kola in, Withania out: Gotu Kola is a fantastic adaptogen that supports adrenal health, promotes skin vitality, calms the nervous system, and enhances mental clarity. It offers similar benefits to Withania, making it a natural and effective replacement.
• Banana Fibre in, Slippery Elm out: Banana fibre provides a soothing, demulcent effect on the bowels, much like Slippery Elm, but with the added bonus of being a resistant starch that helps beneficial gut bacteria thrive.
• Probiotic blend upgrade: We’ve increased the dose to 2.5 billion CFU per serving and now use a robust combination of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus reuteri, and Bacillus coagulans, paired with fructooligosaccharides (F.O.S.) to further support gut health.

We’ve also refined the flavour and texture by adjusting the lemon and ginger ratio, giving the blend a finer, smoother consistency. Additionally, we’ve boosted the potency by replacing some whole herbs with concentrated herbal extracts.

Who is it for?

Directions & Precautions

Mix 1 scoop (approx. 10g) into water, juice or a smoothie 1-2 times per day. Tips: Add powder before liquid for better mixing. Drink quickly as thickens in water. See website for smoothie recipes.

Precautions

• Not recommended if using Hormonal contraceptives such as the oral contraceptive pill (OCP), implant devices (Implanon or Nuva Ring), or contraceptive injections (Depo Vera) as it may decrease the contraceptive action – can be used safely with an intra-uterine-device (IUD) both the progesterone or Copper IUD. 
• Not recommended for use in pregnancy, especially after 12 weeks – may be used at a ½ dose in the first trimester if previously taking Fem21 prior to getting pregnant.
• Not recommended whilst exclusively breastfeeding, generally safe after baby is 6 months.
• If using medication we recommend separating the dose of Fem21 by 2 hours due to it's high fibre content
• Not recommended if undergoing active treatment for hormonal dependent cancers
