We normally make natural products for people with skin problems. But during this emergency, we have turned some manufacturing to an Alcohol handwashing gel to address the national shortage. If we are going to do it, we thought we would make the best quality sanitiser we could that was as gentle on hands as possible. We use Australian grain alcohol, not imported.

Pure alcohol isn’t actually that effective. It needs to be mixed with water. The Government recommends using between 60% and 90% alcohol for best effectiveness. We are using 63% to maximize efficacy while minimizing the stripping of moisture from the hands.

We have combined it with Aloe Vera to help soothe the hands and Glycerin for moisturising. We are limited in our choices here as some additives can compromise efficacy.

Due to Australia Post regulations, we are unable to ship our Alcohol Sanitiser Gel to International destinations as well as to Tasmania. We will only be able to send 5 litres per order and we can only use the Road Service which means longer delivery times.
